Speaking candidly, Hrithik Roshan shared how the media has played a pivotal role in shaping him as both an actor and a person.

“Twenty-five years ago, when ‘Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai’ was about to release, I was extremely shy and anxious. I didn’t do a single interview or attend any promotional events. I stayed home, avoiding all the buzz,” he recalled with a smile.

However, Hrithik acknowledged how much he has grown since those early days, crediting the media for pushing him out of his comfort zone. “You’ve made me uncomfortable at times, but that discomfort helped me grow. You’ve made me feel responsible and accountable, and that’s not always easy for someone as shy as me,” he said, drawing laughter and applause from the attendees.

The actor also reflected on how the media’s portrayal of him over the years has influenced public perception. “You’ve taught people how to see me, how to understand me. Your words, your questions, and your perspectives have contributed immensely to my journey. For that, I am truly grateful,” he added.

Hrithik’s debut film, directed by his father Rakesh Roshan, remains a significant part of his legacy. To honor this milestone, ‘Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai’ will be re-released in theaters on Hrithik’s birthday, offering fans a nostalgic trip down memory lane.
